FAQ
Answers Before You Ask
The most common questions we hear about insurance, Medicare, certification, and business setup.
When is the best time to enroll in ACA or Medicare coverage?
+
ACA Open Enrollment runs November 1 through January 15 in most states, but qualifying life events — marriage, a new baby, job loss, or moving — open a Special Enrollment Period. For Medicare, your Initial Enrollment Period starts three months before you turn 65. We help you pick the right plan and avoid late-enrollment penalties.
How much life insurance do I actually need?
+
A common starting point is 10–12× your annual income, plus mortgage balance, future education costs, and final expenses. We run a personalized needs analysis so you're not underinsured — or overpaying for coverage you don't need.
What happens to my health coverage if I change jobs?
+
Employer plans usually end the last day of the month you leave. COBRA is expensive, and ACA marketplace plans often cost far less with subsidies. Job loss is a qualifying event — we'll get you covered with no gap.
Do I need mortgage protection insurance before closing on a home?
+
Yes — locking in mortgage protection before closing means your family keeps the home if something happens to you. Rates are based on age and health, so getting covered early saves money long-term.
What documents can a notary certify, and do you offer mobile signing?
+
We notarize affidavits, deeds, powers of attorney, loan documents, parental consents, and more. We offer in-office, mobile, and remote online notarization across Florida — including evenings and weekends for time-sensitive closings.
What's involved in legally forming a new business?
+
We handle LLC and corporation formation, EIN registration, operating agreements, registered agent service, and BOI reporting. Most clients are fully set up in under a week — and we stay on as your back-office partner for compliance and growth.
Can you help if I have damaged credit or no credit history?
+
Yes. Our credit services include dispute support, credit-building strategies, and one-on-one financial education. We focus on sustainable habits, not quick fixes, so your score improves and stays improved.
Do you only serve clients in Florida?
+
Florida is home base, but many of our services — life insurance, business formation consulting, financial guidance, and remote notarization — are available nationwide. Just ask.
